Cervical Anterior Decompression and Fusion
(ACDF)
This section provides outcome data on patients who have undergone anterior decompression and fusion procedures (ACDFs), at one or more levels for degenerative conditions, associated with spinal cord or nerve root compression. For nerve root compression, where suitable, Mr Sears generally manages that problem with a posterior decompressive lamino-foraminotomy, rather than by ACDF.
